New mural in 100 Mile House

Neil's latest mural is to be found at the Firehouse Diner in downtown 100 Mile House. It depicts members of the local volunteer fire department in action.

The Leighton Centre, near Okotoks and Calgary, has original art and art cards.

100 Mile House, BC:

Parkside Art Gallery, at 385 Dogwood Crescent, 100 Mile House has original art by Neil on display, it also has art cards both by Neil and Krista. Parkside is one of the great delights of 100 Mile House, with new art shows every month and a gift shop brimming with quality creations by local members of the art community making it probably the most important venue for art between Williams Lake and Kamloops.

Neil's Murals In 100 Mile House: 2

Neil's second mural, located on the Curling Club, was a two phase project commissioned as a 2010 Winter Olympics legacy. Depicted are Stan Halcro, who played a vital role in the development of sporting in this region, and renowned athlete Gabe Bergen, depicted carrying the torch during the Olympic torch relay. A variety of winter sports popular in the Cariboo are also featured, along with the visitor information centre, and the aurora. The mural was completed in August 2010.

Neil's Murals In 100 Mile House: 1

Neil's first mural was completed in autumn 2009 and is located on the Rangeland Theatre in 100 Mile House. It depicts Charlie Reid, stationmaster at Lone Butte Railway Station during the 1930's, with the landmark of the water-tower in the background and a steam-train rounding the bend.

Fairs and Events

Coquitlam, BC:

Place Des Arts, Neil will have original artworks at the Positively Petite Miniature Exhibition 2011, being held from November 17th to December 16th, at Place Des Arts, located at 1120 Brunette Avenue. For more information about the show go to www.placedesarts.ca.

100 Mile House, BC:

Parkside Art Centre, Neil will be having a solo art show, called "Peripheral Visions", running from June 8th to July 14th 2012.

Hills Health Ranch, We will be at their annual Christmas Craft Fair, sunday Dec. 11 from 10: -4:, which features many talented, skilled and varied local artisans in an elegant and comfortable setting. The Hills is located on Hwy 97, at 108 Mile House, on the east side of the hwy.
